Open a web browser to the IP of your device
Click, Admin > Advanced Login
On the SIP tab, there are two sections you will need to attend to.
First, scroll to the RTP Parameters section and make the following change:
- RTP Packet Size: 0.020
Next, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the NAT Support Parameters section and make the following changes:
- Handle VIA received: yes
- Insert VIA received: yes
- Substitute VIA Addr: yes
- STUN Enable: no (only enable if advised)
- STUN Server: leave blank
- EXT RTP Port Min: leave blank
- Handle VIA rport: yes
- Insert VIA rport: yes
- Send Resp To Src Port: yes
- STUN Test Enable: no
- EXT IP: leave blank
- NAT Keep Alive Intvl: 15
On the Phone tab, make the following change under the General section:
- Voice Mail Number: *95
On an Extension or Line tab, make the following changes under the NAT Settings section:
- NAT Mapping Enable: yes
- NAT Keep Alive Enable: yes
Scroll down to the Network Settings section, and make the following adjustments:
- SIP TOS/DiffServ Value: 0xb8
- RTP TOS/DiffServ Value: 0xb8
Scroll down to the Proxy and Registration section, and make the following adjustments:
- Proxy: pbx.ezytel.net.au
- Use Outbound Proxy: yes
- Outbound Proxy: proxy.ezytel.net.au
- Use OB Proxy In Dialog: yes
- Register: yes
- Register Expires: 120
- Display Name: Whatever you choose
- User ID: Your full 8 digit extension number
- Password: Your extension password
- Preferred Codec: G729
- Silence Supp Enable: no
- DTMF Tx Method: Auto
Scroll to the Audio Configuration section, and make the following adjustments:
- Preferred Codec: G729a
- Use Pref Codec Only: no
- Second Preferred Codec: G711u
- Third Preferred Codec: G711a

- NTP Server: ntp.digitalhybrid.net.au

Australian Daylight Saving Rule for 2022-2023

Australian Daylight Saving Rule Explanation
Note that the Daylight Saving Rule needs to be manually updated every year because the start and end dates change annually.
As an example, if you're in NSW, Daylight Saving begins at 2am, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), on the first Sunday in October and ends at 3am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDT) on the first Sunday in April.
So an example of the structure of a rule would look like this ...
start=Month/Date/Day/Hour;end=Month/Date/Day/Hour;save=+1 (equivalent to moving your clock forward one hour)
Therefore as an example, the recommended rule is structured in the following way:
start=October(10)/1st(1)/Sunday(0)/2am(2);end=April(4)/1st(1)/Sunday(0)/3am(3);save=+1 (clock forward one hour)
Each year, the two changes you will need to make will be to the Date elements, eg, changing the second numeral in each date string.
